Training Section: Dutch Style Kickboxing Combos
In this section, we'll focus on Dutch style kickboxing combos. The importance of this style lies in its emphasis on volume striking, using punches primarily to set up kicks, and mastering distance and timing. Here are the key benefits of incorporating these combos into your training:
Volume Striking: Learn to throw multiple strikes in quick succession, overwhelming your opponent.
Punch-Kick Combinations: Develop the ability to use punches to create openings for powerful kicks.
Distance Management: Enhance your ability to control the distance between you and your opponent, allowing you to strike effectively while staying out of their range.
Timing: Improve your sense of timing, making your strikes more precise and effective.
Watch the videos above to see these combos in action and try incorporating them into your training routine.
Training Section: Ground Techniques - Back Position
Understanding and mastering ground techniques, especially controlling and escaping from the back position, is crucial. Here are two videos that cover these aspects:
These techniques will help you maintain a dominant position on the ground and effectively escape when needed.
Training Section: Cone Drills for Kids and Adults
Cone drills are not only fun but also highly effective for improving agility, speed, and coordination. They're a staple in our kids' classes and a hit among adults who love a bit of friendly competition. Check out this video to see how we incorporate cone drills into our training:
